More than 100 juniors and their families came together last Friday, April 30, for Prep’s annual Junior Class Mass – a celebration that marks the grade’s transition into senior year.
After nearly 30 years as a fixture of the Prep faculty, including two stints as Dean of Students, Mr. Ken Dandorph of the Math Department will retire at the end of the school year. In recognition of his distinguished career at Grand & Warren and the generations of Prep men whose lives he has helped to shape, Wednesday's honors assembly included a tribute to Mr. Dandorph.
The final honors assembly of the school year took place Wednesday morning, recognizing achievements during the third marking period and throughout the school year. Among the awards presented were nine Prep Spirit Awards, to four juniors and five seniors.
Construction crews are hard at work, transforming the first stages of Prep's Campus Master Plan from concept to reality – and transforming old spaces into new places that will reshape life at Grand & Warren.
The 18th annual Senior-Faculty Dinner, the first in a series of events leading up to graduation, took place at Prep last week. Seniors, faculty and staff enjoyed a good meal in good company as they celebrated, together, the accomplishments of the Class of 2010.
